Sure-P Largesse Tears Lagos PDP Apart…Bode George accused of hijacking funds.

According to report reaching us, the much publicised Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Program (Sure-P), is tearing the Lagos PDP apart. We can authoritatively reveal that the funds have now been turned to campaign money for the second term bid of President Goodluck Jonathan, as it has now been converted to a largesse for distribution to members of the ruling PDP across the states of the federation.

We gathered that the largesse sent to the Lagos state chapter of the PDP has already begun to tear the party into shreds in the state as members have risen against the control and distribution of the largesse by the convicted party leader, Bode George. In a written statement by a group of Concerned PDP Stakeholders, Lagos State with the title “2015: RECIPE FOR SECOND TERM FOR JONATHAN FROM PDP LAGOS, SACK SHELLE, OYEDELE, B.G, AND OTHERS IF YOU WANT LAGOS 2015″ the party stalwarts condemned the decision of those handling the largesse in Abuja to put Bode George in sole control of its distribution in Lagos state. Part of the statement reads:

“We are shocked to see that the Sure-P programme in Lagos has been hijacked by the Bode George faction again!

They have given Union some slots but what about the neutral non-aligned people? They have continued with the politics of exclusion in Lagos State PDP and this will no longer be accepted.

The group therefore calls on the National Chairman of PDP, The Chairman of the South West Caretaker Committee, The Chairman of the Sure-P – Dr. Christopher Kolade, Federal Minister for Finance and Supervising Minister – Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala to remove Bode Oyedele immediately if the Sure-P is to succeed in Lagos State.
